I've got 300 bucks and I am looking for a an exhaust that gives 20+ hp. Should I buy just an universal exhaust, or a whole catback system. Also, would Greddy be the best choice?

Hey man, you kiddin yourself?

You're gonna get more like 2hp with the exhaust mod, not 20. If you dont have the ypipe already, get it because that's gonna give you 20 ponies.

maybe not 20 for a y-pipe, but it would be the best and first exhaust mod you should do.

No cat back system will add 20HP. Not even 15HP. Your stock system would have to be an awful mess to get those type of gains.

Y-pipe and B-pipe are totally different.

If you want the best bang for the buck, you want the Y-pipe. If your interested I'm getting a discount on the Cattman Stainless Steel Y-pipe. It's normally $430 shipped with gaskets, but it'll be $390 shipped with gaskets or $400 if you use paypal (cause of the money fee).

Email me if your interested: breaux124@yahoo.com

For the Maxima, other then NOS the Y-pipe is the best bang for the buck, so save a little more and do that. If your getting a cat back, do it for sound and looks, but don't exppect more then mayne 7-8 HP for a top notch high dollar system on these cars.

Hey Tex

Are you happy with your Cattman Y-pipe? Any bad experiences (fit, quality, bees in the can)?

No bees in the can, bolts right on. Cattman is the way to go, plus we should support good non stillen products for the way stealin, I mean stillen has been treating their maxima customers.
