I put in my red/clear tails last week now I'm thinking about shaving the hamburger and maxima off the trunk..

Whats the best way to do this? With fishing line and a hair dryer?

I dont wanna take off a chunk of paint obviously...

Also Is the paint underneath the emblems any different then the rest of the trunk, if it doesn't match then it will look stupid...I dont want that...

shaved

i used a heat gun and some fishing string...worked like a champ...you can get the label off just by using the string and then you just have to use the blow dryer or the heat gun to get the glue off...takes a bit but its worth it ...good luck...

I used a hair dryer before, just to lossen it up some.
And I used dental floss. Worked fine if you don't have fishing line.
Didn't take too long.
Hardest part was cleaning up every last bit of glue.

I have a Neptune blue car, and I thought the trunk lock looked kind of odd all alone on the back so I used the little bottle of touch-up paint I got when I bought the car and painted the lock and whatever showed silver when the antenna was down.

sweet.

Hey, this is a little of the topic, but I really like the mesh you got! Is that the Home Depo mesh or something else? Looks really phat on that pic!

Yeah, thats just regular mesh, me and my friend did that to cover up the 2 big holes...I think it looks a lot better, don't think it even cost 5 bucks...
