story about a gsr and me - long
this story is pretty long and involved so i will condense it. i met up with this guy who has an integra gsr four door. the stats looks like this
nizmo95(95max) 4wins gsr 1win against baggs (97max) 1win gsr 1win
so nizmo95 tells gsr boy to race a 5spd max (mine). we hook up last night and gsr boy completely checks out my ride i even let him see my dyno sheet he looked at my tourqe numbers like it was the seventh wonder of the world. he seemed real intrested about everything i had done to my car so i told him everything. then we checked out his car. of course the first thing i do is check for hidden nos lines. he was running I/H/E and a fuel pressure regualtor. i have beaten plenty of hondas w/ said mods so i am thinking this is a no branier. plus he lost to nizmo95 who has a 95 auto w/intake only. nizmo95 beat him off the line four times in a row. anyway we eventually roll onto the freeway and i pull up next to him i dropped into third and waited. i hear him gunn it w/the infamous vtec kicking in. i nail it too he never pulls on me at all, just what i figured. gsr boy had a prelude friend w/him. hell i figured the lude is better comp than the integra. but no go. we pull over and gsr boy could not even look me in the face. i told he had a nice ride and he knew his stuff about motors but i think he was upset. i heard him mumble "yeah his max is quicker than the white one"(refering to baggs533 max). nizmo95 point blank asked to race me again and he said "you arent going to take my win away".(refering to the one time he beat nizmo95). the point of this story is it goes to show how honda boys can be real apprehensive about maximas.
