Shaving your a$$
#1
I was wondering if someone could give me a how-to on shaving your trunk....I tried the search function with shave, shaved, shaved trunk, trunk, emblems, and hamburgers...but I got nothing so sorry if this is a repeat. Just point me to the previous thread. But any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Most people use dental floss, and rub off the adhesive left.
Goo Gone, I think they call it, helps too.
Be patient, use the dental floss to cut the entire emblem off, don't start and try to rip the decal off the car, it makes removing the adhesive harder.

Re: Thanks....
to make this REAL EASY.. get a hair dryer or a heat gun and heat up the part you are working on a good amount then use the "flossin" and take the letter off.. reheat any adhesive left on the car so it is warm to the touch and then rub it off with a plastic card or your finger works well.. heat is a key element in making this easy.. and any glue remover or "goo-gone" will clean it up nice.. i highly recommend you clean well, pre wax, and wax the whole trunk lid when you are done..
