I know many of you are wondering what happened to me the past couple weeks. I usually answer all my emails withing 24 hours but not in the past week. Some nice person sent me a email saying "Hey Greg check out my car" and I when I tried to download the picture to check it out it was a virus that erashed my harddrive. So I been spending the past week trying to rebuild my computer. Right now I am on a friends computer. I am doing my best to reply to everyone's emails. But until I get my computer fixed which is hopefully soon I won't be able to ship out any items, or make changes to my website. As of this morning I have 740 emails waiting for me to respond to......I got some work ahead of me.

Please don't think I am blowing all you off by not replying right away, I am not like that and will do everything I can to get my computer fixed asap.

IF WHOEVER SENT ME THAT VIRUS IS READING THIS...THANKS ALOT YOU COSTED ME ALOT OF MONEY AND HAVE AGRIVATED MANY PEOPLE. I try to be honest and help other people out and there is always that one person that likes to ruin it all.

Also as all you wanted I will be accepting credit cards on my website too. You will be able to order items using a secure sever or call in your order. I have lots of products in stock and can ship then to you asap.

Thanks everyone for being understanding. Feel free to send me an email if you got questions: Greg@CustomMaxima.com

So sorry to hear that, there are just some @ssholes out there who like doing that stuff. We all still love you. (I can't find the sex smiley )

If you have at least a cable connection and need Norton Antivirus I may be able to help, PM me.

Dude you need to Ghost your harddrive when you get everything back together. If you have an extra harddrive or external drive like a 2GB Jaz, you can save a copy of your harddrive to it and avoid problems later. I keep two Ghost image copies of my harddrive just in case crashes ever happen. If you want, I can render my services to help you create an image and maybe you can cut me a deal on some tails. PM me if you think this is fair. I can save you a lot of time, money and effort.

Why did the virus cost you money and stuff? Usually you dont have to format your HD when you get a virus, just use McAffe or the like and clean the infected file. What did the virus do? What virus was it?

It cost him money becuase he has not been able to sell any of his products.

Sorry to here what happened Greg, it was probably a competitor of yours who felt like you are taking all of his bussiness. If you manage to make a few minutes somehow I am still interested in the Sarona kit GB.

why must everybody learn the hard way about backing everything up - and I'm talking about the average person, not somebody who runs a business over the computer... it costs nothing to have a second HD for backup or to burn a CD every week. I am not saying this becuase I think you're stupid but because I hope other will learn from your example.. but for some reason I think that everybody will agree and then continue to not backup their important data. that's all

I am sorry to tell you that anti virus software will only me as good as its virus definitions. If its a new virus it won't make a difference and some viruses get into the boot sector of your drive and destroy it so you can't even start your pc. It pays to have a backup.

That same virus messed up my computer about 3 weeks ago. I got it from a member here who sent me a file that I opened. It wasn't his fault though, once infected the computer sends out emails to everyone on that person's email list with an attachment and a subject saying "I wanted you to look at this and give me advice" or something of that nature. When you open the attachment, it's over...

Word up

Greg, I feel your pain. I was like "WTF DUDE?!!!! WHERE IS MY ^#$^#%%&#&#@&*#^$#^#^#$$%#$%#$ ^$^#^#$ " etc.... and then instead of writing you a hateful email, I decided to see if you posted online. Good thing I checked on the forums!! I would've hated to be a b!tch and write hate mail etc. Oh yeah and even though you have 470 emails I'm sure most of them are repeats of people just trying to set things straight.

Good luck, post a big fat message when U get problem solved!

I am a Network Admin and have the pleasure (yeah right!) of dealing with all of the threats, hoaxes and real virus's that appear on my network. . . I recommend Sophos Anti-Virus. I have found that it works better than most other programs out there. Check out www.sophos.com they have a 3 month trial there.
