How Embarrasing! Poor little mustang... long

I wish I had the money to get another car. If I did, I would stop modding my Maxima immediately and get myself an used MKIV SupraTT. Talk about endless horsepower! Either that, or hold onto my Maxima until I finish school.

Yeah, but those S4's are Sooooooo nice. Thats another car I have considered, but I will be keeping the Max for at least another two years, have to finish school first! Right now though the only cars I really want are a 6 speed max, S4, or M3. If only I had more $$$

Probes
I have a 1995 Probe GT, 5sp.
Most stock 1st gen (89-92) and 2nd gen (93-97) Ford Probe GT's with a normal driver can run anywhere from 15.5-16.5 in the quarter.
For modifications, the 1st gen GT's turbo can get easy boost up to around 15psi and into the 14's with a good driver. For a 2nd gen, mid 15's are normal for a good driver. Even with the most bolt on mods, 15 flat is about par for a 2nd gen with a good driver. To see 14's a PGT needs either the Japanese-spec KLZE engine (from the MX6) or some laughing gas. There are a few PGT's with limited production s/c and turbo kits and custom turbos that have seen 13.5-14.1 times. Supposedly, there are 2 n/a PGT's that ran around 14 flat to win some NIRA (I think) n/a 6 class. I don't follow things too closely, so I'm not sure about credentials.
The 93 2nd gen's are about 100lbs lighter and have lower/stiffer springs, so they're generally faster in the 1/4 and in SCCA GS autox. There's a PGT doing pretty good at SCCA National Tours in STS, but I don't think the PGT is the car for the class. The 2nd gen MX6 is about 100lbs lighter than a similar Probe, so those are worth watching out for.
I was looking to find average quarter mile times for Maximas on this forum just for those times when you never know when you'll encounter a redlight. I know the PGT and Maxima are fairly similar in magazine stats. I'm happy to hear about the 2002 Maxima and its hp/tranny/lsd improvements. I certainly wish I had 190, 222, 227, or 255 hp that the previous/current/future Maximas have had.
If anyone needs more Probe info, let me know.
Brian
