What does a Underdrive crank pulley actually do ?

 

It is a replacement for the stock crankshaft pulley. An aftermarket pulley will be lighter and slightly smaller that the stock pulley. The crank pulley drives your accessories such as the power steering, AC, and alternator. By going to a smaller, lighter pulley, less hp is drawn by these things from the engine. I can't really find a price and the types of models each go for.

 

I think they run about $190 - $250 for the max.
