Yippee! I lost!

Yippee! I lost!
I think my car is broken.![bonk](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/bonk.gif)
Here's the setup: my friend's stock '90 Acura Legend (2.7l V6).
We raced from 0-50mph a few times and I'd barely pull him...maybe a bumper.
We raced from a roll 25-50mph a few times. He walked me each time. Even though he may had the slightest jump I was sure my modded Max would easily catch up and take him.
I'm afraid that my car has lost so much low-end...where I lost to him and a share of other cars...but surprisingly this VG pulls very well at highway speeds.
Oh well.

time for a tuneup! Hey....you know what car pulls suprisingly well?...my moms 2k1 Altima gxe auto. Sure its only 5hp more than her 98 SE but man.....they totally changed the gears. Going WOT in 1st gives a nice STRONG pull up to 45. It may get weaker in the higher gears, but in a pinch it moves well. Dare I say...my moded vg would probably stay even 0-60...then maybe pull. You can just hear these cars weasing at 5500-6k. Ok...I need the ecu and pulleys....bye bye baby. Really...I'm seriously thinking about keeping her for many years and just slowing modding it.

CAI
You need a CAI, some NGK plugs and some Magnacore wires. I saw that engine
Kidding with you about the engine. Your car is one of the nicest 3rd gens I have seen for the miles.
SHUMAX
Anytime you want to run a 4th gen auto., let me know. I would be glad to go at it from 0-60.
