Are 1998 automagic maximas slow. Like I mean real slow. I hear you guys talk about how fast your cars are and I don't doubt it. I think my max is one of the slowest. I raced a 5th gen auto and got whipped. I raced a 323CI and got whipped. 1996 maxima auto ang got whipped. Something has to be wrong. I had a third gen manual and that car kicked ***. My max feels fast when I am driving by myself, but when I go up against someone it sucks.. Any help will do. I will not get an intake because I had one and it made my car even slower. I understand that I have no mods but still come on... PS: Automagic sucks big time...

what is wrong with ur car but a 323? sorry had to say it, as for automagics sucking i agree unless i lived where i really needed one but i drive to NYC with a stick all the time so i still don't see when one would desperately need it, my left leg has gotten a lot stronger due to traffic.

 

Maybe you need a tune up? New fuel filter, plugs, etc... VB mod, Y-pipe, exhaust, etc go a long way too...
