My battery have lasted 4.5 yrs
and it's still cranking. However,
I'm going to buy a new one just
to be safe since winter is coming.
What do you recommend for battery
(brand+model) that has the same
spec or better as the stock one?
I'm not looking for anything fancy
or pricey like an Optima.

go with an Ooptima Red Top or if your running alot of electronics or lighting buy the Yellow Top. I have the red top and noticed faster starts in the morning.

 

how much do the optima reh/yellow tops cost? And I was wondering--does anyone use the diehard batteries? are they alright?
