Buying Nos, but wet or dry system?
What is the difference between the two and is one better than the other. One more thing I want to run a 50 shot, can I run it safely with just the Nos system or do I really need anything else?

Dry = N2O injected at the nozzle, fuel supplied by existing injectors
Wet = N2O and fuel injected at nozzle
You can run a 50 shot dry system on your Max with no problems. There are some safety and monitoring accessories that re good to have:
window switch
bottle heater
egt guage
fuel pressure guage
vb mod
Wet = N2O and fuel injected at nozzle

Like mzmtg said... You can run a 50 shot with no gauges or anything else extra, but they are good to have, especially since you WILL want to crank up the NOS eventually. IMO, I would go with the Dry system. The difference: Dry system injects the NOS through the intake, and you get the extra fuel through the injectors; Wet, NOS and the extra fuel are both injected through the intake, which I would not recommend for 2 reasons; 1st, You run a greater chance of having one or more cylinders run lean, since you can't control exact fuel pressure; 2nd, you run the chance of fuel puddiling and having a intake manifold backfire. The only system I would recommend over the Dry kit is a Direct Port, with nozzles on each individual intake runner. Good luck.
