Just curious how fast you have gotten your GS400 up to? I used to have conniption fits every time I saw a Maxima SE, now that I have one I am that way about the GS400. Will be my next car most likely. Does the engine have a lot more potential?

14.6 bone stock.
there are quite some mods for it, normal people will do a intake and ecu and a torque convertor, i have seen mid-hi 13's timeslip with those mods, crazy people will do the SC, check overboost.com for the 12.0 sec GS400 from swift-racing.
for me the drivetrain is staying stock, 14.6 is good enough for the purpose of a comfy sedan.

can't be mine, my is only 14.6, and i only ran once at e-town.
if it was a black one with cut front bumper grill with intercooler showing, that's indeed the swift-racing car, he has been racing alot in PA and DC to test his car.

yes there are several GS300 with SupraTT setup and 6sp conversion, I don't know any 400 does it yet, cuz if that's what you want to do you should save some money to buy a 300 to begin with.
below someone mentioned a SC300 with TT set up, that thing has nearly 800RWHP!

Did it look like that? If so, click on the link above to see the feature article that I did on the Swift Racing GS400 - supercharged.

There's another black GS400 that rides on Volk AV3s - he lives in my area... very nice car, but the Swift Racing GS is faster =)

Clint down in Texas has a SC300 TT w/ the MKIV engine/trans (as mentioned before). almost 800 rwhp !!

I had a video from inside the car doing 0-6-0 in 8 seconds. It was uploaded in my temp file for a few months, but I deleted it. Unfortunately, Overboost decided not to use the video due to bandwidth restrictions. 0-60 in 4 seconds, on street tires, with 3 people in the car (sans baby seat LOL), 60-0 in 4 seconds.. unbelieveable car.

Well you'll look good with the top down! Everybody will be able to see you. Won't that be cool?

Is your GS faster in the top end than the M? I remember reading that the M has a governor in the 130s...137 or something. Doesn't the GS top out around 150? I thought that was pretty cool.

That's cool...

I always thought that was a pathetic limit. It could have at least been 155 like the others. I have a friend near San Jose who just got a new Z3 2.8, and she's upset b/c she figgered there'd be a 3L model. I told her to chill, because there prolly won't be one until the redesign since it would be too close to the M in power. I dunno about speed. Think I told her the right thing?hehe
