I have a particular stretch of street near my place where the block is quite long. Here I can stomp on the pedal and enjoy the sensations. I've adjusted my BOV but I still don't hear the Phhsstt just yet. I guess I have to loosen the screw a bit more. Anyhow I noticed on a couple of runs where I looked in the rear view mirror and saw white smoke come out of the exhaust as I'm in full acceleration. This doesn't happen during normal driving. I don't think its because of the cooler weather conditions but would this be normal?

 

My BOV sounds a bit weird, I'm not sure if having an auto has anything to do with it. I adjust the screw, but I still don't get the true PSSHHTT sound. I don't know, I could also have a boost leak somewhere. I would sometime get lag, don't know why, but it happens from time to time.

As far as the white smoke, I haven't check mine. However, when I really get on it, I do get an odd smell. Mardigrasmax said it smells like a S/C Maxima. lol...whatever that means.

 

Now that you mentioned it I also get a strange smell after a hard ride...must be unique to SC'ed Maxes....unburnt gases?

I encountered a bit of lag when I encountered a CLK 430 a few weeks ago, despite having Don's VB mod...Probably because I was hesitant for a moment instead of mashing the pedal...other than that I've not encountered lag since...
