Cali Specs-a Little Help Por Vavor

sorry im new but i just wanted a clarifacation on cali spec aftermarket y pipes, are these pipes with pre-cats, if im in california do i need a cali spec model if a get a new y pipe or can i get any one and chance it any information you know would help PEACe

the aftermarket y-pipe will not have any pre-cats. However, if you have cali spec emissions, you will have one pre-cat built in to the front manifold. The y-pipe will bolt up to the front pre-cat, but it willl have not pre-cat in the rear. Cattman makes both cali-spec and fed-spec pipes. Stillen's pipe is a two-piece design, so it works with both.

you or does anybody know if warp speed makes y pipes for california cars, also would taking that out be possible and would that free some hp and torque?
