Replica/Alternative to Racing Hart C2 -- Know any?

I'm a really, really big fan of the Racing Hart C2 rims. (Attached is an image of the rim so you can get an idea of what it looks like.) However, the C2's are really damn pricey, and I'm just not willing to spend that sort of cash ($500/wheel for 17"x8.5"!!) on a wheel.

I've been considering the C2 Evo's, which are the same basic design as the regular C2's, only they're one-piece and $230/wheel. BUT, they only come in 7.5" wide, and I'd like something wider.

So, does anyone know of a replica or a similar wheel made by another company that's less expensive? (I'm looking for 17"x8.5" if possible.) If so, where can I get it?

Thanks!

Good luck. No bargin rims are going to come in 17X8.5. Even some high end rims only come in 17X8. With 17X8.5, you would really have to go with real racing hart or Volk.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. Well, I'm still open for suggestions. Also, one of the bigger reasons I want wider wheels is because I HATE seeing wheels that don't come flush to the outside of the wheelwell. Could I simply put spacers on there with smaller wheels (17"x7.5", for example) and not mess up the alignment, etc?

Axis Wheelsite Mesh is one. There are literally dozens of fakes of those wheels. And why do you want 8.5 inch... are you planning on running like 255s or 265s or what?

Did you know that Racing Hart and RH Evolutions are two DIFFERENT company with NO relation to each other. There is lots of mis-conception that RH Evolutions are sames as Racing Hart but the fact is that they are NOT SAME COMPANY or related in any way. Real Racing Hart wheels are made by company called Takechi Ltd in JAPAN but RH Evolutions are made in Taiwan(???) made by some company ???? (I don't know)

Here are some examples of REAL Racing Hart wheels:

http://www.infinite-motorsports.com/...racinghart.htm

Here are some examples of RH EVOLUTIONS(Which are NOT Racing Hart}:
http://www.infinite-motorsports.com/...hevolution.htm

This means that RH Evolutions C2 is not a REAL Racing Hart wheels but a wanabe. Only C2 (3piece) is REAL Racing Hart.

I thought this was interesting when I found out.

From what I heard, RH Evolutions are being sued by Racing Hart. This is not for sure, just a roomer. I think DAZZ Motorsports has something to do with marketing them like they are same company or related company. Dazz Motor Sports are the SOLE distributor for Racing Hart & RH Evolutions in the USA. Also when you see ads, most of times company differentiate Racing Hart & RH Evolution.

I thought something fishy was up with RH Evo. I always just assumed that because the RH Evo wheels were 1 piece, thats why the designs look a little sleeker (no rivets) and are cheaper. Because in general 1 piece wheels are much cheaper than 2 and 3 piece wheels. Something to keep an eye on I think...

Racing Hart makes M5 in 3piece & 1 piece but they are not called evo's.

Takechi LTD (who makes Racing Hart) also makes Lowen Hart wheels.

As for where RH Evoutions are made and by who? I don't know. Its just a guess because I heard that some were made in the US and some in Taiwan. I am not for sure on that.
