headlight bulbs

depends on what u are n2. If you REALLY want bright bulbs you need to get upgraded wattage. Only problem is that lotsa folks who do this end up melting their factory wire harness. The only sure way around this, which also increases light output is to get the upgrade harness. Some people report availability issues with this, so you better call ahead. Check aftermarketsource.com for a wide selection. So far as what wattage, the hiwatt would be like 9004 85/110 or similar. Lotsa company like piaa claim that their bulbs put out this wattage light without consuming that much energy. This is generally bs, so if you get the harness, make use of it and get genuine hiwatt. What brand is a matter of preference. I have the reg harness and piaa platinum super whites. They are better than stock, but not that hid look alot of people want. Personally i don't want to draw the heat from the man. Also, if you don't have fogs, they add a s***load of light output.
RE:Lights
{so u have the stock wires with piaa sw, and what is that hid look.}
The Hid look is headlights that look like my headlights which are real HID's which are usualy found on high end cars like Mercedes etc.
{and what about the bulbs next to the head lights how come they r dimmer is there any way to keep the stock wires and make them brighter.}
The lights next to the headlights are dimmer for a couple of reasons.One reason is they are only like 10 watts and secondly because they are not really clear like the headlights.If you want to make them brighter I think http://www.maximadriver.com has Instruction of how to do that.

hid light upgrade
the question still is, what is the proper wattage and recommended brand to use with the stock wiring harness, without frying the harness or headlamp assembly?

If you want real HID's,
You do not have to worry about wireharnesses or any over heating problems,because they are only 35 watts each but have about 3 times the light output of halogen lights.If this sounds to good to be true it's not because they cost 525 + depending if you find a good deal or not.Check out the 4sale section and skip back a few pages and you will find ordoring info if you are really enterested.later.
