I also got my Quaife!
All I gotta say is wow, this thing is tiny. I thought it was gonna be bigger. Anyway, right now my transmission is out of my car and the case is taken off. Thanks to the www.motorvate.ca and the OE service manual I dont anticipate changing the differential to be too bad. BTW my OE manual does indeed list a viscuous slip tranny, this is most likely for the I30T model. If anybody has gone inside of a Maxima tranny, this is what it looks like I gotta do. Remove the revese parts, then remove the main input gears. The differential is in the "final drive" gear section, so I gotta take that out and then dissassemble it. Then replace the differential, use a preciso dial o meter to get a reading to see if I need any shims. Then I gotta buy a new speedometer gear and possibly 2 other gears. Then put the beast back together, change my clutch and motor mounts then put back together the car.
I got qouted $250 to install it if the tranney is of the car. This price was from a reputable transmission shop recomended to me by my local Nissan dealer shop foreman.
Please keep me updated on your DIY install, I'm still tempted to DIY.
