woohoo, I drifted/got my car sideway/oversteered my car without Ebrakes!

I didn't know it was possible, today it was raining and I'm running on stock goodyr RS-A. I was entering the freeway a bit too fast (it was raining) and first the car understeered then after 3 seconds of that it the whole car turned to the direction the steering is pointing, now the car is side way and skidding, I had a lot of road and was undercontrol so it was pretty cool, but don't do this on tight roads, then I had to counter steer to get the car striaght and that was it. Sure was fun but danger if you entered a tight freeway ramp too fast. If I get better tires/supension mod like RSB will this go away?

Hydroplanning happens when you are going too fast for conditions, and NO susoension mod will fix that. While there are tires that will improve wet weather traction, the better thing to do is to just slow down. IF you can not see the treads left by the car in front of you, expect to hydroplane.

Drifting is a controlled condition, sliding your a$$-end out because you are just going too fast in wet condtions is called being out of control, there's a difference. Careful man.

If you hit the brakes, you just observed, brake induced oversteer.

I didn't hit the brakes, I know if I did I'll cause some major oversteer. I did this before while understeering @ like 10mph in snow, tapped the brakes and the tail just slided everywhere.

Medic: Its more like Desktop **** the copycat, has nothing 2 do with you
and hydroplane = the tires riding on top of water right? I don't think I was hydroplaning, the car was still under control, but sideways, I can still steer/acclerate and I recovered from the slide. I thought FWD will only understeer without braking, guess I was wrong, anything can happen in the maxima.

I have a nice wide turn up my road and when its raining I could drift a little ... it's a big left turn so I give a little nuge to the right and a big one to the left and take the turn and it drifts and im still in control ... it's fun but I don't do it very often incase something hapends and I lose it ...
