perhaps this should be moved to the off-topic section. but since we are all in the nissan family...why not!
anyways, my gf has been looking for a car and I have been thinking...get either an altima or a sentra and drop in the japan engine SR20DET.
wonder if any of you guys know of any good engine install shops ard the mid west? Indiana, Illinois, Ohio...?

then...if things do work...it'd be my daily driver...since the SR20DET would run (with a bad launch) low 14s...! instead of having me to go out and get a supercharger...!

any thoughts and opinions is greatly appreciated

As cool as it may be... I donno. After doing the engine swap in the CRX myself, I sometimes wonder if it's reliable. I mean I have had no problems and don't see any potential problems, but who knows...

I don't know that hte DET swap would go in the altima well... if you want, get a S14(240) and do the DET swap. RWD, etc etc... much more fun if you ask me.
