Looking into Megan Racing cat-back

To start, I apologize if this is in the wrong forum. Don't get mad at me, I'm not on here that often anymore.
Moving on, has anyone had any experience with these systems. It looks pretty nice. I talked to the guys at MR and was told that some people end up with a quiet setup and some are loud. He said he has no clue why. I'm thinking with my y-pipe, I'm going to end up with a loud one. I was also told this muffler is straight through, and I don't think I'm looking for that. I feel like I'd lose power with the setup I have (the backpressure topic still confuses me). Any thoughts or ideas on this? I'd be dropping about $400 w/shipping on it, and before I do that, I wanted to get some feedback from you guys.
Or...do you guys have any other suggestions for a catback? I want a nice (not rice) sounding setup. Not too loud, but one that has a throaty growl at WOT. My brother has the Cattman and that is too loud for me if that helps.
Any help at all would be great everyone! Thanks!

Look to see if it's been covered in there.
