It does take alot of queues from the camry I think, but pulls it off much cleaner.

Lets add this picture too.

I think I could really get to like the new Maxima. I haven't said that since 2003. I really like the grill and front end. It reminds me of the GT-R more than the Charger. It still looks like a bigger car than I was hopingit would be. But at least it looks good.

I bet it will have the same kind of system as the Rogue. CVT with paddle shifters to simulate gears when you want to. It's not too bad in the Rogue. I don't know what it would be like a car with actual power, though.

Overall, I like it better than the 6th gen. However, it looks like it has some styling cues stolen from the Camry and maybe a BMW, the way the hood bulges.

Well...

I think this is my last Maxima...

That square grill just does not look right. Looks like some arab version of an infinity M to me.

I'll reserve judgment until I see it in person. At this point I'm not disappointed that I bought an '08

Man I sure hope it does or at least an HR. It would kinda crazy to redesign the whole car and put the same engine in it.

Interesting choice of headlight design if you ask me. but it looks smooth for a 7th gen. Wouldn't mind driving one of those

in an AWD or RWD version that is..

and does anyone else see a little bit of IS350 front end design in there?
Camry rear...already stated

the main thing that throws me off is the alignment of the rear taillights and the way the trunk is shaped

I kinda like it, the straight on front shot looks pretty mean to me can't wait to see one in person.

True, but I doubt it's the same old DE. The probably took the Altima's DE and cranked an extra 30HP out of it, for 300HP and ~ 270TQ.
