Speedometer making funky noise
Driving to work today I notice an odd noise that seemed to be emanating from the speedometer. Everything’s cool until I reach 75-80 mph then the noises start.
I had a noise issue like this with my last car although the noise was louder and occurred at all the time. Turns out that the speedometer cable was dry and needed to be lubricated, didn’t do anything about it and after a couple months the cable snapped.
I need to do something about it because it’s f-in annoying.
Anyone deal with this before?
