Tranny fluid

Wassup,, i just got my oil and tranny fluid changed. I was wondering how much you guys pay for that. I had to pay 33 for the oil change and 80 bucks for the tranny change. That seemed kinda like a steep price for something I could do myself. What do you think?

Dude, everything's steep compared to doing it yourself.

they do seem kinda steep....for instance I get Mobil 1 Syn. oil switch at Merchants Auto for $20 and tranny fluid drain and fill for $65....but you did save a little cause Aamco around my way charges $120 for a simple drain and fill, so I'm afraid to even guess what Nissan charges!

depends

You didn't specify whether the tranny change was a drain and fill, or a full flush. The full flush runs quite a bit more. Same with the oil if you got it changed with dino oil or full synthetic. Seems "reasonable" if you got a flush and a syn change.
