I find most review regarding the 2002 vague. No one has said anything more than what others have said. It is by design that magazines haven't reviewed the 2002, even if it is the automatic version? I would like to read about pros and cons, detail performance figures, and some comparisons.

nice write-up though, can anyone tell me why the manual transmission is heavier than the auto?

I thought that was strange too? I could have sworn that my 02 maxima brochure stated the auto tranny was about 30lb's heavier.

seouljah, I wish! Nothing but dealays over here, the arrival date has been pushed up to 11/23, another dealer near by me may be getting one in this tuesday= .

Car and Driver dd a 'Short Take' on the I35...

I know it weighs more than a Max, and is auto-only, but it still racked up a 6.9 0-60. They said it was about a second better than the last one they tested.

i agree with the you need a GS lexus to be able to beat a maxima, i almost beat a GS400 and i will come spring. nice review all around.
