get whelen or nova kits. 60W is great, 90W better. 120W is fockin unbelievable, like the big police trucks use

I think there was a group deal going on for strobes a little bit ago. Im not sure if its still going on. But whatever u get, make sure its not cheap strobes like Hiper Industries or some other 20 dollar kit. They arent bright, they dont flash as quick, and they burn out easily.

Do you plan on putting them in your headlights? I hope you are willing to drill a hole in each of them to put the strobes in.

Re: Re: Strobes

hey lou...

i used Toucan's U-strobes.. wired up 1 in each headlight, they are bright as hell and arent that complicated.. i am in the process of wiring up a switch on the dash somewhere for them.. right now i just turn em on with the boxes up under the dash..

they run about 50$ for 2.. you need to buy extra wire to wire it to a power and ground.. and then to have it on a seperate switch..

you can check out strobes and other "emergency vehicle" items at www.galls.com They specialize in public safety items, and have strobes, wig-wags (headlight flashers), etc... that public safety vehicles use. Check for legality before using them on the street.
