Thinking...
Right now I have an 01 5th Gen Max and I have been thinking about getting a new car. It's between an 06 G35 and an 07 Maxima. I really am loyal to the Maxima family and would not want to leave just like that. It's like I'm walking towards my car when its parked and I see it and I'm like dumbfounded every single time I see the car. It's really hot
. I'm thinking about modding the maxima if I were to get it, however the G is faster and similar in price. What do you think I should do guys?

Personally I think the Maxima got way too big and heavy for its own good. Whenever I see a 6th gen I think of it has just a slightly sportier version of a Toyota Avalon.
Just by the way things are in the cars, the 2005 Altima feels a heckuva lot more like a Maxima to me than the newer Maximas.
Personally, I would definitely get the G35.

I want to enjoy the car through all of the aspects. I don't race, but sometimes we all have our moments where we just accelerate. I want to be the winner of that. Other than that, I'm an everyday driver. The 01 max is fine for me, I just want something a little better and definitely faster.
I agree, the new Maxima is hot. I believe he said an 07 Maxima though not the 09.
Just FYI I think the 07 is CVT only wheras you can get a conventional automatic or manual in the g35.
The G35 is RWD and is available with a stick. It's quite sad the '09 Max is only available with a CVT... seems to be castrating the driving experience a bit.
It's your call, but I'd lean towards the Infiniti.
