What ever happened with this? Did you get it fixed?

You could try spraying some WD-40 or Liquid Wrench around the threads (carefully try not to get it into the combustion chamber) and see if that'll loosen it up.

its 14-22 FT LBS....hell the HEADS aren't even at 156 FT LBS....

Thats pretty wild!

Its a simple fix, a mechanic can tap it out, they might have to heliarc the sparkplug hole, but it will be ok.

At 150ft/lbs + aluminum heads, I would suspect that the threads would be damaged. I'm surpised you didn't rip the plug right out of the head.

Anyway, if it can't be taken out, off comes the head.

This is an old thread...so it should be resolved one way or the other. I just thought of this the other day.

Either way...this orignal post was a long time ago...and I noticed by looking at the guys profile that he hasn't posted since this thread.

Wonder what that means?

True, but fortunately he said it broke around the 80lb-ft mark.

I am curious to see how this worked out for the kid. Hopefully not too bad but I wonder now if this will discorage him from trying more stuff on his own in the future or not.
