okay so i've got an 02 maxima, and my sister just got a 2002 altima. It didnt have a remote. I had an extra one. So i didnt the stupid move of programing it to her car thinking that one remote can only be programed to One car, obviously not. Now.. i hit lock and locks both. Unlock, unlocks both.. I took about the battery and put in a dead one to see if it'll reset it. didnt work. What now?

 

you'll need to deprogram your car entirely, and then reprogram the remotes you want to work on your car.
