My friend said the dealer by him had 2 brand-new 2001's going for invoice, and I bet you can shave another $500 off that price. People here said the 6-speed Maxima sells for list. For 3.5k more I'd say a rear-drive GS300 is worth a look.

 

isn't the GS300 only 220hp and heavier than a Maxima to begin with??? unless you're looking for "luxury" wouldn't that be a step back...
