Dealer wont acknowledge TSB, What to do?

Hello all, I want to know how you guys get your TSB work done. I've been to 3 dealerships (even the place I purchased my vehicle) in the NYC area and they wont even dare look at my TSB's, telling me that this is Internet crap that people post on the web. I've clearly pointed out to them that this is documented material from Nissan North America. Last week, I went in to have them check out my front struts because there is a creaking noise when i make turns and they claim "they did not hear anything". Complete BS! Anyways, I'm wondering how I can get all this work done before my warranty expires. Thanks!

GC

Call 1-800-NISSAN1 and get their advice on their dealers??? I believe TSBs are posted by the NTSB, so its not just internet crap as the dealer says.

FWIW, I believe that a 'recall' is mandated by the government while a 'campaign' is initiated by the vehicle manufacturer.

As was mentioned, call Nissan of America and verify that you have a legitimate service issue, get the reference number. Then ask for the name of their rep at your local dealership. Every dealership has a particular manager that is responsible for answering to the parent company. They have alot of clout within the dealership. Call this person and make a service appointment through them. They should satisfy your request provided you've done your homework. If even that rep refuses to help you, call Nissan of America back and explain the situation.

One more thing have your complaint about the squeak noted and dated. At least then if it gets worse you'll be able to have it fixed after the warranty period.
