OMG, 1.7bar

omg, whats wrong with my car. We were messing around tonite, i really should be breakin in the motor, but anwyays, my friend in a 240 was revvin on me so i decided to screw around, i punched it and got some wheelspin and shifted to 2nd and punched it and i heard these crazy noises and the red warning light flasing, i let off right away and checked my Peak boost level. That needle shot to 1.7bar! im like what da hell>??? car is still fine but im wondering why it overboosted that much. whats 1.7bar? 24psi?

ohhh thats gotta suck *****

list of what you have related to the turbo as far as airflow, size of downpipe. boost controller, intake pipe size. amd i'll help you fix this problem

quick check,
go out and check ALL of your connections regarding airflow. you may have a simple boost leak

Let me guess, you're using the Apex'i AVC-R? A lot of people have probs with it cuz it stays in learning mode and doesn't open the wastegate at the right time. Apex'i AVC-R = the suck, GReddy Profec B = the win.

Hell dude, good engine rebuild. If that had been me with my luck, the engine would have popped like a balloon at 24 psi
