Getting MAd on the highway

well, i just merged onto the highway and this monty carlo is in front of me in the fast lane. the person is doin 5 over the speed limit and i decided to pass them. i get into the right lane and i speed up slightly to pass them.. i get even with the car and then... i realize the person sped up and i now do not have enough room to pass cause there is a car in my way.... i kinda chuckle to myself and say i have done this plenty of times...

i then swing in behind chevy and we pass the slow car...

well i go and try to pass the person again.. that #@^#$&$^#!^%@ sped up again..

So. now i am ****ed...

i swing the car behind him again.. as soon as the slow car is even with me i put the pedal to the floor!!!

everyone knows that if you do this with an auto.. you down shift and the tach screams up tp 6000 rpms.. and with all my "go fast" mods i actually get pretty good pull... i scream pass the monty carlo.. even though he tried to speed up again..and i swerve in front of him.. (not making him brake or anything)... then i slow down.. to like 10 below the speed limit and i am pacing a car in the other lane...he cannot pass me now.. he is flashin his lights and swervin everywhere.. just ****ed off...

i this was the second time in 2 days some did this to me.. WTF!

and the other day i had some boat.. err i mean some older american car.. (i am not even sure what it was cause of the bondo and odd painted body parts) rev on me at a stop light.. there were 3 young kids in the car lookin at me to race.. i didn't

they sped off and i cought up to then later and while we were doin like 20 or so i reved twice on them and they figured i wass ready to race.. they sped off again... and i just laughed to myself and let them go...

i had to vent... thanks

This past Sunday, I was getting on I-290 from I-90/94(I was already in the correct lane to get onto 290). I was already in the lane when this newer Chevy p/u starts merging on me. I refused to let him in because he waited too late to enter the lane. As I kept up, he was trying to push me into the retaining wall. Needless to say, I was beyond livid. Then when he got on 290, the ******* flew off cutting off a whole lot of people in the process. If I was an Illinois State Trooper, I would have given him the following citations:

Speeding (Asswipe was doing around 80 when he got on 290)
Failure to Yield the Right of Way
Reckless/Aggressive Driving
Failure to Signal
....and some chrome bracelets.

Re: Getting MAd on the highway

I know the feeling. I tend to travel a bit faster than the normal flow of traffic. It's amazing how rude people are. Specially on steep hills and inclines. WTF, nobody wants you to get infront of them and they do what ever they can to block you in. I used to get really ****ed , but lately I have calmed down a lot. If someone is traveling at a good clip and they are coming up on me ( very rare ) I'll move out of the way or speed up. I won't block them in or try and slow them down. It's just common courtesy.

I think I've calmed some also, but it's just plain irritating to see people fly around with no turn signals, not yield for anyone and basically drive like a$$holes.

I'd just like to point out that you basically did the same thing as him.

If I need to get around some left-lane pokey, I'll do it but then I'm gone. No time to get even or teach lessons when I'm trying to get to work or something. I also try not to cut people off. To me that's the difference between a fast driver and a fast driving *****.

That's the other side. People that drive fast, cut people off, don't signal, and irritate the sh*t out of everyone.

Hehe...

Same thing happened to me 007! And it was a new Monte Carlo with the fugly Altezzas too!!! I eventually pulled in front of him and slowed down to like 40 MpH (from 60). He pulled next to me and I raced up ahead and cut him off slowing down to 40 MpH again! It was a young guy and he look kinda ****ed - but what was he gonna do? He can't catch up to me in that boat!

You guys keep that up till the next thing you start to see is that white light as you are laying with your head in your lap because ol' boy pulled out a 44 desert eagle and unloaded his pre-ban clip into your head rest.

I dreamed that a head was in my lap....... it was only a dream though. The circumstances were a little different...... and then I woke up and changed the sheets.
