2k2 se 6spd pricing.

Russ got me into thinking about this last night after he said a price that sounded awesome.

what i was thinking
bare bones se 6spd
usual standard crap. a/c pw/pl/cruize/tilt

cloth interior
no roof {if possible at all}
no bose {bose sucks}

not sure if the 17's would fall into this catagory or not.

whats you're opinion on this. could it be had for less then 24k?
im thinking yes.

17's are standard now on the SE. So you get them no matter what.

My dealer had a 6spd cloth for 24k. It had sunroof though and bose. So I am sure you can find a more barbones model.

I refuse to go back to cloth, thats why I am still in my Max

just need to find the color i want now.

russ. im tired of leather. burns my *** in the summer. it sucks. thats why i put cloth in the gsx {still have the leathers}

also. is their anything out for it yet?

ya you can get a bare bones one for 24k if you are good. where are you located. if you talk to bluefish from this board he will give you a good price. also there is nothing out yet but custom catbacks you can do and a stillen hi flow. thats it so far.

why not get a maxima thats almost 30k?
BECAUSE I CAN'T AFFORD THAT MUCH!

thats why. and i have grown tired of leather.
don't need a sun roof because i rarely use the one in my car now
bose? please. my computer speakers sound better
i didn't spend over 5k on stereo stuff to spend another 900 bucks to rip out a bose system.

i don't need navigation.
i don't need heated seats
or any other useless crap.

im a simple man, with a simple duty on this project.

this is my reasoning behind it.

if someone paid 23/24k for a max se with leather bose and stuff. i can do better then that for a simple car.

im gonna go talk numbers with a guy saturday.
i'll let you know what i come up with

nice part number sprite. i guess someone will have to find out if it fits. but think of it this way. the pump in this car must be a higher grade pump right. they go from 190 to 255. so if 4th gens have a 190 maybe these come with a 255 stock and you can run 125 shots on stock pumps just a thought. prolly wrong but flame away.

knowing nissan. i doubt it
they more then likely put slightly bigger injectors in there and upped the fuel pressure to compensate for the flow rate of the pump.

thats ok. i know a lot more now. so its going to get very scary
400+ ft lbs anyone?

considering how much easierr it would be to change the pump instead i hope nissan did this. we'll have to see. and sprint i want to run no gauges, just a 50shot so it won't be me to find this out.

A fully loaded Max with every option except Nav. can be had for $23k if you're willing to drive it back from Canada. A base model 6 speed SE invoices at $22700. You should be able to get it like $23000. Or wait for a used one for an even better deal.

get yerrrr Maxima heeeahh

The good news is that the rebates have begun, $500 in December. That could mean $1000 or more by summer. But if the 2003 becomes a good-looking car, the rebate is kinda moot. It's how you say, a marketing ploy, like free shipping and cdr-w on a Dell. Only the latter is $1200 with all the bells and whistles and less than a week's pay.

Bryan, if you are looking for the strippo delux SE with 6-speed, you should be able to do better. There are a few posts already with SE's going for around $20K.

Or wait a few months till the rebates start flying in.....

Russ, im sorry but u have to have your numbers wrong. 24K ? for a SE with Bose and Roof? SE's base at 24-25K, bose is 1200 and sunroof is 850, thats 26500, through in mats, guards, at your about 27K sticker, I know... my SE has roof and Bose, mats, mudguards, and deflector stickered 28K, got mine 2% over invoice, 26K plus taxes and license. a very base 6 speed SE would sticker 25K.
