Who here has installed the inserts from the www.leatherseats.com
I installed the leather just fine (a little painful though). I've git the rear inserts trimmed to fit with just stuffing them in (no glue). Who else has done this job? Did some of you just leave the inserts off? Ive got charcoal cloth inserts which match my black/graphite leather perfectly. It looks good either way. I'm not thrilled about glueing the inserts in because there's always the possibilty I might get 3 inserts in just fine and the last one I'll screw up.

I installed leather seat covers myself. What inserts are you talking about, the door panel ones? I glued them first and then trimmed them. I have perforated black/silver combo (with perforated silver leather door inserts) and it looks great, see my sig pic below
Enjoy your leather.

Enjoy your leather.

I put too much glue on the driver side panel. You can barely see 2 small yellow spots.
Whatcha talkin' bout' Willis? The inserts they send are in the correct shape, but they are 1.5" too big in all diminsions. You do have to trim them somewhat. You can't wedge what they send because you'll have about 1" of material sticking out of the insert. It appears you need to get them within a 1/4+" of the door insert size, atleast that's what I have done to be able to wedge the rears in with no glue. The best tool I've found to wedge in the inserts is a metal spoon. It works perfectly and doesn't tear or pull the insert.

.Did you guys remove the door panels when you installed the vinyle inserts?
I finished installing my leather today, it looks, very, very nice! It makes the car feel like it is much more expensive. BTW, my hands are all cut up and my body is really sore, I can't wait to wake up in the morning

I really don't understand what you are saying. Does anyone else agree with me that you can't wedge in the insert they provide without cutting it? You can only tuck so much material back there.

Leather. I wanted my door panel inserts match with the seat inserts, and they didn't have silver vinyl.

. Once daylight hit today I realised I managed to put my driver seat in a little crucid
. Now I have to take it back out and adjust the 4 bolts that hold the bottom and the top of the seat together. I will go snap a few pics right now{not of the crucid seat
}
