installation help with billet grille

installation help with billet grille
I got a billet grille for the upper and the lower pieces in my 2002 Nissan maxima se. I followed the instructions but the studs on the bottom are too short.. I might be doing something wrong so any suggestions?

no probably just have to do a little adjustment. No aftermarket body piece fits perfect unless it says Nissan on it
