Brake Caliper Paint
Hey everyone. I was just wondering; Is brake caliper paint safe? And if anyone has used it, what were your results and does it last? Thanks

Yes...
It is very safe. If you use the right type of paint (either high temp paint or caliper paint) it will last as well. Just make sure you give each caliper plenty of time to dry and you should have no problems.

That a very argueable topic. Some people say 20 minutes per caliper is enough, but I would give it 1 hour to be on the safe side. It all depends what paint you use and how many coats.

i waited about 20-25 minutes for each to dry. thats why I did two at a time so I could paint one while the other dried

Prolly stupid question, but what the hell, You prolly have to take the rims and tires off right?

i think there are people on the org who have done it w/o taking the wheels off...I wouldnt recommend it tho
