trunk mat measurements
trunk mat measurements
Hello all, 3rd gen owner here
I am interested in finding out the measurements of the trunk carpet from newer maximas. The 3rd gen carpet was not embroidered with the "maxima" logo like the new ones are, and I was hoping I might be able to use one of the newer ones (probably wont be a direct fit but I can probably get it close with a little cutting)
here are the measurements of the 3rd gen trunk carpet

36 1/2 inches front width
53 1/4 inches back width
39 inches deep
16 inches deep from back to middle "cut"
maybe if we get all the gens' measurements this thread will be helpful to more than just myself. thanks

the one on my 2003 is
23" front width
54.5 back width
36.5 inches deep
it has a couple of cuts in the width from front to back though I can take a picture soon and add unless someone else has one

I guess I assumed anything newer than a 3rd gen got a logo on it, apparently not!
thanks for the measurements. from looking at pictures on ebay I think a 6th or 7th gen mat is going to be my best bet, but it doesnt seem I'd have to cut any of the mats. seems the 3rd gen covers the most area.
