Marred knuckles and wheel bearings
I'm putting new wheel bearings and hubs into a spare set of knuckles that I have. Cleaning up the knuckles after pressing everything out I notice one of them is a little marred.
I've read on the interwebz over the years of knuckles/spindles with similar issues being described as destroyed/worthless/unusable. But it seems to be this is somewhat irrelevant. I mean, there's no movement at all between the knuckle and the outside of the bearing outer race. I can't understand how this would affect bearing life in any capacity. Am I missing something? Just want to make sure I wouldn't be "wasting" my new bearings and hubs by pressing them into these knuckles.

It'll be fine. Looks like someone was pressing a bearing in at some point and got it cockeyed in there. Use some grease there and go slow keeping it straight. When they get angled they start gouging the knuckle.

I know how to replace them, but just wondering if I could have done something wrong. Also if anyone knows how much it would cost at a Dodge/Chyrsler dealership to have both front wheel bearings replaced with an alignment can you let me know? I'm Germany so I can't just go to one.
