No. Everyone knows larger wheels have better handling. But all of those wheels weight less than your shoes do. A smaller wheel would not be much lighter for them. We are another story. How did we get to supercars anyways Master bot?

And I still stand by it. But when it is .0000000000000001 lbs difference, its worth the handling improvement, right?

Over all tire size makes the difference in acceleration not the wheels size. What if someone ran with stock 15's (like me) and another ran with 18's but the overall diameter was the same as the 15. Who would accelerate faster then? I think the person with the 18's would accelerate faster knowing the wheels and tires are lighter.

So if a 18 inch wheel weighs 17 lbs with a tire.... and a 16 inch wheel weighs 27 lbs with a tire your saying that the 18 inch wheels will produce slower 1/4 mile times.

Is that what your saying. I am hoping that seeing it will make sure that this is what your saying and that sprint has not flustered you so much you can't think or type.

Where did you see that? Even if the Toxxins DO weigh that much, which i doubt... 18" tires are heavier then 16".... on my 16" rims, which weigh 20 lbs each.. the tires are about 21 lbs each. 215/55/16 (STOCK SIZE). I bet 18" tires weigh somewhere around 26 lbs or a even a tad more... And I can't believe 18" Toxxins are so light

Trust me they are VERY LIGHT. I have 16 stock se rims. My toxxins are about 10-15 lbs lighter. I found this out by picking them up.That with tires as well BTW

Ok, I stand corrected
yes, they DO weigh only 19.8 lbs HOWEVER.... 16" stock 4th gen SE rims are approximately 18-20 lbs each.... the TIRES will make the difference here. Just in this case, I bet the 16's would give him better times... Also... wider wheels actually slow a car down as well.. Stock 16's are 6.5" wide, 18" Toxxins are 7.5" wide.

I have been trying to figure that out. How much the stock se rims weigh. If you find it or if someone knows, let me know. I think they are more in the 25 lb range myself. But I could be wrong. Thats why I ask

Yep, Bags got owned by this here GXE...

...but, he will be faster when he loses weight and figures out how to launch quickly.

Plus, I like being a quick GXE with no real power mods. Unless you count OSCAI as a power mod...

Plus, I cut down my sound system today, so I'll be lighter every day on the street.

Psst, anyone want to buy a JL 10w0? How about a PPI 2360 amp??
