Looking for opinions on what to purchase!
Hey Guy I am looking to get out of my Jeep SRT8 and looking to get back into a maxima. Now I am looking at a couple options. The first one I love the color and options but the miles are what is scaring me away. Secound one i also like. I am going to look at these today but looking for suggestions. Thanks

That 08 is a pretty decent ride, but a completely different car from the 09. However, thats a lot'a miles on the 09...Either way, they are charging too much for both of them, at least the 08 you can get into an extended warrantee up to 100,000 for maybe $1500. I bet the 09 you can't get extended coverage for it.

I like the white one....
I like the first one too. Similar to what I just bought today. http://autocatch.com/used-cars/2010~...ma~1075051.htm
I definitely like your first choice, I'm guessing that's in miles too. Seems high to me but I'm new to Nissan and Maxima as of today so some others should chime in. Mine was bought to be a daily driver, about 70 miles a day on the hi way so lower mileage was important to me. It took me 3 weeks to find this one . I didn't run across too many with nav, but then I hear it was a $3500.00 option. Maybe keep looking for another white one with lower miles on it

I went back and looked, neither one of them list a NAV, I really think the price for that 08 should be 16000, even with the low mileage. Used cars are funny right now, the prices of them are going up instead of down. Do your homework on the value of both cars before you commit.

YES. Just picked up my 07 6spd manual 335xi with nav for 17k 80k miles.
I have seen them go for as low as 15k. 2008s are usually less than 20k if you find the right one. I had to search for a month in a 200 miles radius and missed out on a few because they were scooped up immediately.
It is so easy to make them fast. Most of the m3 bits bolt up too. I just loaded a off the shelf tune for a stock 335 on 93 and it is amazing. 3 mpg better than my auto maxima too. Depending on how you want to get there you can be over 400 whp/tq for 1k.
This is just spraying meth no mods other than a tune vs. the stock tune, very similar results if you ran straight E85. Also shows you what it dynos stock:
Sorry to thread hijack! But to me, for that money you would spend on the max, you can get a much faster, more fun, luxury vehicle. Total sleeper too. the $/hp is just ridiculous. 3L inline 6 twin turbo ftw.
Obviously the car isn't for everybody and the 7th gen maxima is still a great car. But haven driven both I would take the 335 any day of the week even stock with no tune. Reliability is on the maximas side and if I didn't turn my own wrenches I might be worried about maintenance costs. My insurance went up $8 a year vs. my 03.
edit: Also if the op is coming from an SRT8 jeep he might like something more comparable speed wise. With a tune the 335 dynos about the same while weighing less.
If you want to move this post to a new thread go for it. I know it is OT.
