ECU Tune for an exhaust?

Is it necessary for an ECU reflash/tune for a new exhaust?

It's not a necessity. Tunes are good when you have multiple performance parts so they work together best as possible.

Like they said no but you could use a raised rev limit, advanced timing, optimized fuel maps for 93, etc. So do the intake, exhaust and then do the tune.

As far as intake I only slapped a cone on the stock tubes. Doesn't seem to be quickest with response but it does the job. I only use 87 though lol sh*ts almost $4 here. Is there such thing as a rev limiter on an automatic?

Really....I've bounced my 5.5th Gen off the revlimiter and it's an A/T! So if your in 1st, 2nd, 3rd or Drive(O/D off) it's possible!

That was a silly question, of course there's a rev limiter.

Yes there is a rev limiter. Don't waste your money man. A cone filter and a a lil exhaust never hurt nobody but don't get carried away. You can't make it quick without dropping the cash. Do a lot of research before buying anything to make sure you want to waste your money on it. Cone filter is always a first mod, then the y-pipe. Headers, raised rev limit, advanced timing, optimized fuel maps, spacers, etc. If auto; upgraded valve body, b&m trans cooler, amsoil atf (complete flush like 10qts), upgraded valve body, etc.

Well I'm not trying to make this a street racing car. It's my daily driver, so all I wanted is to do the basic upgrade of intake and exhaust. I wanted to give it good air flow because I have a new engine in. I'm replacing some things so this way I can have a reliable car. And when it comes to rev limiters I don't see how it could work on auto if there's no clutch pedal. Do you just brake and give it gas? :S

Put the car in d1,2or 3, when the car reaches the gears top you will see the rev limit on the dashboard on the rpm guage.
