Loud pop.

I have a 2012 Maxima. I recently installed a set of STR wheels. 10.5x20 staggered concave in rear, 9.5x20 in front. When I turn the wheel all the way to the left to back out of my parking space, no problem. When I return the wheels back to the straight position, I hear a loud pop from in front. Only on my first trip of the day. Does anyone have any idea what it might be? Thanks for your input.
Randy Rod.

Sounds like it could be any number of things. May be that your upper strut mount bearing or bearings are worn causing tension on the spring which would cause what your describing. Is it a popping sound or more like a clunk?

this, but also, if it gets worse, and starts to pop/clunk every time you move forward or backward, it could be the bushings on your steering rack, I'm having this problem right now

I love my A32

Your car is 2012? how much wear has it seen or winter has it gone through? I find it very surprising you having a Pop noise.
