JWT Intake came loose...HELP!

I have a JWT Intake and yesterday evening, the clamp that connects the air filter to the throttle body came loose and the car started acting extremely sluggish & I could hear knocking, pinging...lots of hesitation...could not get the rpms above 3000. It just kept dying.

I re-installed the filter hose to the TB and tightened the clamp, however, it did not go all the way in! I just couldn't get it in all the way. I am afraid that sooner or later, it will come off again. The car does run fine now, but my A/F gauge keeps touching "RED" more than green...it seems to be running lean!

Anything I can do to fix this? Is there a trick to get that hose in there nice and snug? It is not the intake but the OEM hose that connects the filter to the TB...

Please advice...

If I read that correctly, then I believe it was because the MAF sensor was not reading the correct air flow since the whole intake was disconnected from the TB so it caused the ecu to think its not getting any air so it leans the fuel.

If it were to come loose again, do you think it can cause some damage/detonation?

I am going to pull the plugs and look for any signs of detonation...
