CPU display gauges

Will the Max and other cars ever have CPU display screen with virtual gauges instead of the needle type gauges?

Yes. Every single one from here on out probably will. I believe it has to do with a worldwide collective of popular opinion in vehicle design. In some countries, needles are more important for other uses than in car gauges, which was a huge push for the decision, as well as those like me with aichmophobia. I support digital gauges without the use of needles. Definitely the eco-friendly and social direction the automotive industry needs. Unfortunately a CPU display will require an extra onboard GPU. The added circuitry will quickly demand other features from the consumer. The added electronics will quickly increase energy requirements on cars, so the market fears this will require not only the use of multiple batteries and stronger alternators, but a separate engine to power them. The future of the car industry is cool, but scary.
