Let me drive your car first, than we'll think about it.



It's gonna be a hard design, but I'm pretty sure we're going to try it if we can get a project car.

ahhhhhhhhhhhh, scary. i think we can do that. maybe we can use just a piece of the stock one for the bend to start. we need to get a mandrel bender

FYI, a true mandrel pipe bender costs well over 10K.

I don't think that guy has a mandrel bender - I think he has a regular one. But my friend with the Chevelle with the 3" exhaust got his mandrel bent somewhere, I'm just trying to find out who it was.

that one isn't big enough, need to go to 3 inch piping and be mandrel, they are $$$$$$$$$$$$

Hmm... reading the manual now, was also looking at the photo's... unless i'm missing something it looks like it can handle a 3 inch pipe. However you'd need a larger pump.

Oh, it's a Mandrel bender aight

Anyhow, if i'm mistaken in any of these.. sorry. Just trying to help out.

a regular bender used JUST pressure to bend and can leave ripples and unsmooth, non uniform sized piping. with a mandrel bender when it bend it it run a "mandrel" through it to keep the shape perfect and nice and smooth.. looks better and flows better.

sorry your right about the mandrel part. it's almost 2am here. but i see they only sell the dies for up to 2 inch piping. but it's something to think about. looks nice.
