04 Maxima dilemma. Need help?

Hello everyone, sorry if this isn't the right section to ask this in. I have a Maxi 04 SE 3.5 135,000 miles I just bought a year ago. Had a few minor issues I fixed and it lead me to start researching the car a little more. I'm intimated by all the trany issues it is said to have. I love this car very much would hate to get rid of it. My trany is running great but If I do sell I want to get rid of it now before I screw the next person over. So I guess what I'm asking is if this car is worth keeping lol. Any help or advice.

Dude, 04 with 135k miles, bluebook is like $2500-3000 at most. If someone bought it from you and the trany dies, they spent less on the car then the rebuilt trany will cost. Don't burden yourself with who get's the car after you...once you sell it, it's their problem. Unless you intentionally concealed a major repair some magic juice...you are not responsible after the sale in any way.

I just did a bluebook look up on Edmunds for fun, Car is worth $1000 as a tradin, maybe $2000 private party sale. Again, don't sweat it. Run it into the ground.

As long as you own a 2004 in 2018 you will always be in a dilemma. That model year was a piece of ****, I should know because I had a brand new one in 2003 and drove it for 9 years and the initial couple years of ownership of a land rover of all things has been a far better experience than I had with the maxima.
