Can a worn CV that is currently just worn and slightly vibrating damage the CVT? Pretty sure my drive CV axle is starting to go bad. I have been hearing a growl from under the car. Seems to be shift smooth but wasn't sure. Both CVs are being replaced tomorrow. Vibration and growl has been happening for around 2 weeks as I've tried everything to get the vibration to stop.

3 wheel bearing hubs have been replaced, new rotors and pads, 4 new tires, 2 alignments, 2 balances. Now two CVs going in.
