I know what you mean! Maybe you have to slap on some big stickers. Or get a big loud muffler if you don't already have one. Just last night. I had a old body style Accord with exhaust, lowered pull up behind me on the highway. Ride my tail. I was so happy! I was thinking, play time. Long stretch of road. I move over. And start pacing him. And he doesn't want to go. He just felt like riding my tail. Probably better that we stay outta trouble anyways..

Must be drinkin the same koolaid, cause I have that problem too. I generally don't go looking for trouble, but spotted a new (yellow) IS300 the other day and figured I'd see what he had. I was buzzin that guy like a mosquito, but he wouldn't play.

Get an intake or exhaust and more people will mess with you. Last night some guy goes flying by me on the highway and I was doing 80, so I speed up and catch up to him, it's a new jetta no VR6 tags in sight. So eventually the highway ends and we get to a light where about 100 yard down it goes into one lane. The light turns green and we both gun it...when he heard my intake I see him look over and next thing he knew he was behind me.
I've provoken others by rev-ing my engine, a stock maxima barely make any noise, so it doesn't work as good.

man...why do you wanna race.....

dude...
it is just a waste of gas...
I get kicks from ramps going into the highway and if I have to make a far left turn..and of course, road with curves....
ahahahhaha....I am faster than a lot of people there...
yeah...that is not such a wise thing to do...but I stayed on my lane and I like taking the turn fast...I mean, I am just going 40 at the turn and the speed limit is at 40...
but anyway...call it what ever you want, but it is much more fun than drag racing....
street light racing does not really proof anything but the other guy has a more powerful engine or better launching tech or both....plus the chance of getting some tickets...
anyhow....
I only did that twice, one againts a supra (whats up with that....why he want to race a 4dsc...no freaking clue)
and one honda accord...oh gee...almost caught the bait on the honda..but it ain't fast and as soon as my brain realize it..I slowed down...lucky for me before doing many more stupid things..
oh well...
just my 2 cents

No one races me either. I have graphics, exhaust, big wing, etc. and yet no one wants to race me. Last race I got was like 2 months ago and it was just a Civic EX. I get people revving on me, but usually going in the other direction or turning off. Last week I had a Celica GTS nail it for about 50 feet and then just as I was about to go, he turned off.

If you have a stock looking car you have a better chance at racing because people think that your car is slow. If your car doesn't look stock then they are afraid that you can kick there *** and they don't want to race. If you want to race that bad then try to race cars like mustangs and camaros, you should get some takers, but depending on what you have in your car you'll probably get beat, but it's still fun.
My friend has a stock looking camaro (except for 18X9.5 OZ monty carlo rims) and people try to race him all the time...and he does a 12.4 quarter mile!
