Hi folks, I bought my maxima new and have 80,000 miles and no reason to check brakes. ( I had the squeaking grinding sound when braking so I brought it in to my guy) He says the fronts are fine, but the rears need to be replaced, so he's doing that...

My question is how are my fronts lasting so long?? its a good problem but I don't understand..... thanks if anyone has wxperience with this
