2009 nissan maxima sv premium package cvt
Hey guys. I know there is a punch of threads about this but i couldn't find a solid solution. So I just bought a used 09 nissan maxima with 200k miles on it and I have some issues with it.
First of all i have wired whistling noise i think it's coming from the transmission whenever i accelerate or rev the car. i changed transmission fluid and filter but doesn't fix the problem
Second i have l cracking and rattling sound comes from the sunroof "moonroof" while moving.
is there any thing to do to fix those problems? Or any suggestion what to inspect.

I don't have a clue about your first problem. But I may be able to help with your sunroof issue.
Is your sunroof closing all the way? Mine stopped closing all the way a number of years ago and the dealership wanted to replace the whole roof under warranty, about $6000 in 2015.
I asked them to first try reprogramming, because I didn't want to be without my car for 2 months without a loaner.
They reprogrammed it and it now has about a 1/8inch gap when I close it and I have to physically shut it by hand the rest of the way, so it doesn't whistle.
It doesn't leak and since I park my car in a garage, I'm now in the habit of checking my roof whenever I get in to drive.

But there is a sound sort of a loose bolt
